My guild leader made a video, but because she had to go to Germany, she couldn't post this reply, and since entries are closing today, she asked me to do it for her.

This is a link to the video:

Again, all credit goes to Alyssa Devona, I am not responsible for it's contents and any prized she may win go to her.

Due to repeated begging requests, and the occasional bout of illness I have decided to allow people a further 24 hours with which to complete their works.

This is not a cop out, the ecto will still be given out, and it will still be given out by the tenth of November anyway so no one is losing out in any way shape or form.

LOVING the work so far people, thanks for all of your efforts. x <3 x

this one's based off my painting from my other thread with a battle pose of my warrior.
unfortunately i didn't save the picture as a PS doc so i had to redraw it in order to properly modify the layers (fortunately i was able to magnetic lasso select some objects, specifically the head, shield and sword, from my .png format painting and copy them over to my new one in order to preserve the specific details i knew my fans from my other thread would otherwise miss )
changed the grass to sand because it's the desert, improved the glare from the sun by merging the sun, sand, and sky gradient layers into one background layer and rendering the flare on that, so there's not annoying spots on the focus of the piece: the epic battle between two equally skilled warriors of opposing moral value
i also obviously copied, translated and flipped the layers that make my warrior to create the doppleganger.
overall took about 4.5 hours in photoshop, hope you enjoy

Awesome, Lili Frog. The Doppleganger is really freaky looking - in a good way. I also like that ink like wash you used in the background.

there are a lot of awesome entries here in this thread, but I've just been completely stunned by Raven's - the intensity generated by this recognizable yet distorted image of yourself is simply astonishing! Haven't seen anything that impressed me quite as much in quite some time. Kudos!

Thanks Baron for posting !
I kinda rushed the last part; I had to wake up at 4 AM in the morning to finish the video, so I didn't pass the deadline >.>

Thanks for holding this contest. Here's my entry:

"It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." - FightClub

I thought that was an appropriate quote for my painting. I hope you see why.

Default everyones looks great

quick thing about my entery is that i find that the doppelganger fight is more of a betrayal, let me explain all throughout the game while saving the king slaying charr and just generally being a hero you thiunk wow props to me, however when you get to the doppelganger fight i was like hmm new mission ill check it out, weird only me in the party, okay here i go 20secs later.
holy **** im fighhting myself wtf and im getting beaten.
so this is why my picture is how it is the life timer symbolsies the time the doppelganger waits bjust lurking before coming for you. and i changed the axe into a dagger to get the whole "stabbed in the back" feel.

i named it "et tu doppel" and left background white cos i just like white background and aslso show contrast. hope u like it.

I'm afraid I don't have a quote for mine, I suppose:

"Twins, Basil. T-wins"

Would be in the spirit of the doppleganger, if not the form.
